It was just another day at the office. Another day working away in the world of advertising.

Was I inspired and happy with how things were going?

Is this how I was going to continue living my life?

These were the questions going through my head a few years back, I realised that I was going through the motions and relaxed in my comfort zone. I was working in a job that was well just a job. It wasn’t something that got me excited or that I could say that I was truly passionate about. Life was passing me by.

Do you turn up each day and continue to ask yourself these same questions?

I was told the stories of people who followed their dreams and achieved their goals. Why couldn’t that be me? I wish I could take that leap of faith, but the fear of failure just kept me back. My inner voice would put me down every time.

I was always very sceptical of Coaching and Mindfulness. Growing up in Glasgow it just wasn’t the done thing. That Scottish Mentality that we are tough enough to deal with our emotions on our own and anything different was not the done thing.

One summer I found myself on a small island in Croatia called Obonjan. It was a Mindfulness and Music Festival and after much persuasion from my wife I thought I’d give it a go. This was where I met my Mentor and Coach who inspired me to follow my dream.

I started to discover myself and looked deeper into my mind, body and soul. Through coaching I began to find myself, to believe and to focus on true happiness. This incredible journey allowed me to become who I wanted to be when simply put Everything Connected.
